IBM]Test Engineer
BU Description: Functional Verification Test and System Verification Test team for IBM STG system management software, to deliver the software with high quality. The scope include function verification, system verification, installation validation, performance & stress test, test automation design and implement, tools development and customer support.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for functional verification test and system verification test. Working on test case design, execution, problem reporting, defect analysis, etc. Working with development teams to ensure the quality of software.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences):
Strong knowledge about software test theory, test process/methodology
Rich software testing experience
Strong operating system management skill
Good Shell programming experiences is a plus
Firmware/Hardware knowledge is a plus
Good command of English.
Qualifications (Education/Major/Certificates):
Bachelor or Master Degree major in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related;
Excellent communication skill;
Self-motivated team player;
Quick learner & open-minded;
[IBM]Software tester （会有机会到英国培训）
1. Must have experience in C, C++, Shell Script, Java programming language. (CSTL will administer C and Java programming test)
2. Must have Windows XP, Windows 200x, Linux RH, SUN OS, HP UX.
3. The skills must include: spoken and written English.
4. Technical skills for the team of 11 must include understanding of SANs (switches and storage controllers), and basic system administration skills in one or more of Windows, UNIX, or Linux operating systems.
5. Optional Skills: IBM DS4000, DS6000 and DS8000 product knowledge
6. IBM SAN Volume Controller product knowledge
7. Software Version Control Tool (IBM CMVC) experience
8. IBM Lotus Notes
